Kevin Gordon is a senior producer, director and documentary filmmaker.

 

For over ten years, Kevin has worked as a producer and director on every level of the supply chain, from production company to agency to brand, and on every type of content from 6s GIFs to feature length films.

Kevin is Executive Producer at Across the Pond, a global creative agency specialized in tech. As EP for North America, Kevin is point person for client briefs and oversees a team of creatives and producers. Prior to that Kevin, was a video producer at Facebook and Uber on their global marketing teams.

Previously, Kevin ran Sub64Films, a boutique creative video agency and production company whose clients included Genentech, LG, and Google.

The child of Jewish immigrants from apartheid South Africa, Kevin began his career in international human rights work before returning to his first love, documentary storytelling, as an alternative tool for change. After completing his MFA in Documentary Film at Stanford University, Kevin won awards at film festivals around the world, was selected for the “Filmmakers of Tomorrow” program at the Telluride Film Festival, and earned a Student Academy Award® for his short film Dreams Awake. He then directed Border Patrol Body Slam for the New York Times' OpDoc Series. His first feature-length film True Son premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and was sold to Fusion TV. His short film series Shine On about the unexpected side passions that people live for earned two Vimeo Staff Picks in 2019, and his most recent short film Caregiver: A Love Story was qualified for Oscar-consideration.
