Kevin Gordon is a Bay Area-based documentary filmmaker, director, and producer. 


The child of Jewish immigrants from apartheid South Africa, Kevin began his career in international human rights work before returning to his first love, documentary storytelling, as an alternative tool for change. After completing his MFA in Documentary Film at Stanford University, Kevin won awards at film festivals around the world, was selected for the “Filmmakers of Tomorrow” program at the Telluride Film Festival, and earned a Student Academy Award® for his short film Dreams Awake. He worked as an associate producer and field producer on "I Almost Got Away With It" a 13-part documentary series for Discovery and directed "Border Patrol Body Slam" for the New York Times' OpDoc Series. His first feature-length film True Son premiered at the 2014 Tribeca Film Festival and was sold to Fusion TV. He is currently in post-production on a short film series called Shine On about the unexpected side passions that people live for. Kevin is based in the Bay Area and directs and produces documentary style content for brands and cause-driven organizations. He is a graduate of Yale University.
